Where The Jobs Are and Where The Property Is

Anticipation should still be a part of  your real estate marketing, whether you are a broker or investor. The reason a potential buyer or tenant is interested in your property or opportunity may have more to do with the benefits of the location as much as the amenities and price they are considering. One of the many things I find agents and investors overlooking is when a location is within proximity of job openings.

 

Some cities are experiencing growth with new manufacturing or corporate facilities being constructed, which can mean hundreds of new local jobs. Some employees prefer to live close to their work, if feasible, to save on transportation or gas costs in addition to commuting time.
