Regardless of your personal political stance, the current status of relations with Canada and other countries is, the impact is and will be felt on the real estate construction community. We don’t know if it will have short-term or long-term effects.
People within the industry are, obviously, hopeful that there will eventually be a reversal of the additional tariffs being imposed, resulting in even more millions of dollars of government refunds being issued. These would be in addition to the billions of dollars already approved for government refunds to large corporations.
We all know that as the number of refunds grows, the bureaucracy will increase significantly, which will serve to further delay the process.
