First In Promotions provides marketing, advertising, and market research concepts for small business and individuals
with an emphasis on the real estate community.
Large scale clients have included corporate RE/MAX and Coldwell Banker regional offices, 50,000 watt Chicago and Los
Angeles radio stations, an official publication of the Los Angeles Assn. of Realtors, and Premier Real Estate Magazine.
Now in our 20th year at our Chicago area location, we continue to be "FIRST IN" marketing innovations.
The "Open House Hotline" telephone service started in Los Angeles in 1989 as the first telephone real estate shopping
service used by numerous agents and offices. By 1991, this feature was also FaxBroadcast to area realty offices each
Thursday and published each Friday in an offical publication of the L.A. Assn. of Realtors!
Expanded to a toll-free service, THE REAL ESTATE BUYERS HOTLINE began in 1994 and was the first nationally
available real estate by phone service. Our ability to provide updated professional recorded descriptions and then transfer
potential home buyers to our advertisers from coast to coast resulted in more than 140,000 calls processed from coast to
In 1995, 50,000 watt radio stations in Chicago and Los Angeles sponsored the HOTLINE enabling large realty firms to advertise hundreds
of current listings and generate buyer calls to their agents. In 1998, RE/MAX of Texas used the HOTLINE to make its Houston TV "Re/Max
Home Show" an interactive experience. Viewers were able to call the HOTLINE for additional property information and to be instantly
transferred to the listing agents during and after each telecast.
The 00's brought continued innovation with regard to real estate related advertising and marketing concepts. First In Promotions played an
important role in the creation of several web sites targeting real estate and mortgage professionals as well as consumers.
These include www.ForRealtyAgentsOnly.com and MortgageMarketInfo.com offering new innovations for agents, brokers, and lenders.
Dave Kohl, selected in 1990 as "Business Person of the Year" by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, has personally written
more than 12,000 property descriptions, ranging from recorded descriptions of homes for telephone hotlines to 20 page brochures for
specific commercial and investment properties across the country.
Mr. Kohl's extensive broadcasting and public speaking experience are now available for media training and coaching of realty agents,
builders/developers, and leasing agents. Hourly and group rates are available, with travel assignments (more than 200 miles from Chicago)
now available for selected Saturdays throughout the year.
Additional services available for realty agents and offices include "pull no punches" advertising and marketing critiques and strategic
planning, an investment team prepared to "save" commissions by completing qualified short sales, and ghost blogging.
Our staff has written thousands of unique property descriptions, press releases, radio & TV news copy, marketing proposals, and
audio/visual narrations. We have performed real estate and telecommunications related market research and consistently meet deadlines.
Yet, First In Promotions is available to a lot more than the real estate business. Our small business consulting services have expanded from
initial business and marketing plans to creating of seminars, corporate training, creating specialized web site content, and converting printed
books and manuals into audio presentations.
